Using the tools
Fast Mode is provided free of charge for personal network diagnostics. Results are estimates and are not a guarantee of the speed, availability or performance you will receive from an internet provider or any individual app.
Network and data usage
A test exchanges real data with third-party services. The standard speed test can use substantial data, especially on fast connections. Light mode reduces the test duration and byte limits, but usage still varies by connection and browser. Check your plan before testing on a metered connection.
Responsible use
Use the tools manually and reasonably. Do not automate excessive requests, interfere with the service, or use the site to disrupt the third-party providers it relies on.
Third-party services and links
Speed, IP lookup and DNS checks depend on third-party services. Their availability, policies and results are outside Fast Mode’s control. Product links may be affiliate links; see the Privacy Policy.
Availability
The site and its tools are provided “as is” and may be changed, interrupted or unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fast Mode disclaims warranties related to uninterrupted service or the accuracy and completeness of diagnostic estimates.
